Dr. Yemesrach Demissie was born and raised in Ethiopia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Washington Bothell before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from
Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Her journey into dentistry was driven by a passion for helping others and making a positive difference in her community.

While in dental school, Dr. Demissie participated in community outreach programs that provided free dental care through Oral Health Day, Give Kids A Smile, and the Riverside Community Event. These experiences reinforced her commitment to serving others and providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes every patient deserves to feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their dental care. Fluent in both English and Amharic, she enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and building lasting relationships based on trust.

Outside of the office, Dr. Demissie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places. She is excited to serve her community and is committed to helping her patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while creating a welcoming and positive experience at every visit.
