Our company had a humble beginning. It was the second dental practice on the South Hill of Puyallup in 1971.
Dr. James P. Zanner purchased a mobile home and renovated it to build his dental practice. It sat across the street from what would become the South Hill Mall. Dr. Zanner built his practice by serving his patients with a caring, gentle touch. He firmly believed in staying up to date with the latest techniques in dentistry and was known for delivering “shots that didn’t hurt”. Hundreds of his patients still come to the practice today.
In 2021, we celebrated 50 years of serving the South Puget Sound community with the same mission.
Our company has grown to over 50 dentists and specialists working out of 21 locations with a support staff of approximately 250 people. It remains privately owned.
We are grateful and accept the responsibility of serving our community with the same kind nature of Dr. Zanner. Welcome to Light Dental Studios. We look forward to serving you.
